“Museum of the Future: The building designed by an algorithm”. Six floors of exhibitions, immersive theatre, and themed attractions, inviting you to look beyond the present to the possible. The museum is set to be an eye opener for all visitors as it targets the progression within the future of outer space resource development, bioengineering and ecosystems – The challenges in areas such as health, water, food, and transportation & energy – and a whole floor dedicated for children, focused on our “future heroes”. The cutting-edge design of the museum will be catching the attention of the thousands of drivers on Sheikh Zayed Road and Duphill are honored to be a part of such a visionary project like this.

To ensure the ceiling would correlate with the museum’s aesthetic, we installed Lahnau’s Akustik Spray Ceiling solution. Manufactured in Germany, the material not only provides a visually pleasing finish but also offers fire protection and sound absorption. Lahnau’s Akustik is made from 100% recycled glass and reduces CO2, offering an optimized LEED rating and outstanding heat insulation. The variety of the material allowed our client to choose from the catalogue of finishes, encouraging a quick turn around and allowing easier design decision making.

Thanks to our highly skilled workforce, the ceiling is now an easy to clean, visibly satisfying addition to the museum and we are thrilled to have our work on display for the museum’s countless visitors to admire upon visiting the attraction.

Be it new materials or new methods of application, our team of experienced craftsmen are always ready to learn and conquer any challenges that occur on site. The 545m2 area of Acoustic Ceiling has greatly contributed to the sleek, futuristic aesthetic of the museum.

“The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it. It isn’t something you await, but rather create.”
