Talabat, the largest online food ordering service within the Middle East, has been feeding the mouths of Dubai’s endless residents and visitors for over 8 years and due to the established business’s success, they have rightfully earnt themselves a pavilion within Expo 2020 to showcase their new innovations and upcoming developments within the online food ordering industry. Countless meals are delivered daily by Talabat and anyone within the Middle East will recognize its bright orange and blue colors that represent the prestigious company. Within the Talabat, Expo 2020 pavilion, the decorative flooring will not only reflect Talabat’s vibrant brand colours, but also display the creative, cutting-edge innovations that Talabat are introducing for the future.
Supplied by our partners at Ideal Work, the chosen materials for the pavilion were our decorative Lixio + for the flooring and our outstanding Microtopping for the walls. Lixio +, applied at 20-140mm thickness, allowed us to create a custom colour combination with the various aggregates. The seamless, eye-catching floor not only offers visually pleasing benefits, but the system is extremely durable and easy to clean, making it the perfect option for consistent heavy footfall areas like this. Microtopping, applied at 2-3mm thickness, was also applied to the walls to contrast the luminous colours of the flooring, and compliment the Pavilion with its seamless, durable, decorative finish. Both cement-based materials have paid great contributions to the aesthetic and have created a stunning finish throughout Talabat’s Pavilion.
Our craftmen, created breath taking results throughout the Pavilion and were honoured to have supported Al Tayer Stocks with the execution of this project. With each member of our team showing great passion and excitement to their work, our results will continue to reflect the ever-growing legacy of Duphill. This work of art is guaranteed to catch the eyes of all visitors at the Expo.
